Book #3, Book #4, and New YouTube Channel

Happy Spring, dear friends!

Following a very intense autumn last year, I found myself with writer's block...and also needing to rethink my entire business approach and plan.

With the onset of 2026, I began with a new YouTube channel, Neon Empire Dreaming, which focuses on my "balancing act" as an author, illustrator, early phase creative entrepreneur...and full-time housewife + mom to four furbabies :) I would love for you to check it out and subscribe! Video production is now on my current list of creative outlets, and I've been having a lot of fun growing this channel from the ground up.

Also this year, Book # 3, Peanut and Miss Perfect, is once again in progress. The story is fully edited, and I am working on illustrations as much as possible. This book targets the difficult subject of alcoholism within a family. As this subject is poignant for me personally, I did my best to treat it with the care it deserves for an audience of young readers.

Fairly recently, my writer's block thankfully resolved as well. Writing Book # 4 is now my happiest focal point whenever I need a break from...well, anything :) As always, creative writing brings me a sense of ease and joy. I won't be dropping the title just yet, but I will share that the narrator will be none other than Miss Winky Noonem!

Last but not least, I finally got around to updating my Instagram grid (literally just 2 days ago). Please follow along for more frequent updates, because I'll soon be posting illustration progress for Peanut and Miss Perfect!
