Fluffy Ferrz is upset to learn that her family’s new home address will require her to switch schools. She’ll have to start fourth grade all over again at Mulberry Academy, just one week into the school year! Even worse: her neighbor and best friend, Dandelion Darling, is temporarily relocating to Brooklyn due to her dad’s latest work project.

With her bright and brilliant personality, though, Fluffy quickly realizes that making new friends at Mulberry Academy will be no trouble at all. Winky Noonem, an outgoing, popular girl with a not-so-secret secret, takes a shine to her right away - and the two soon become inseparable, taking on fourth grade as a team.

Fluffy tries her best to keep in touch with Dandelion, whose experience in Brooklyn goes from bad to worse. She’s keeping more secrets for Dandelion than she can count! Will she and Dandelion be able to stay besties, even as their communications grow fewer and farther between? And will Winky even be able to accept that Fluffy has a bestie in another state?
